Working Titles Counselling

Working Titles Counselling offers caring, collaborative, and affirming space for folks to explore experiences and build on strengths.

Kia ora, I’m Lee Grabarek (they/them). Working Titles is a direct response to my years of working in health promotion, rainbow advocacy, and support, and witnessing the ever-growing need for accessible, compassionate, and responsive counselling services, especially for rainbow communities.

My therapeutic approach is grounded in a blend of Solutions-Focused Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Narrative Therapy. I also draw on my knowledge of systemic injustices to contextualise the challenges clients face and the healing power of community, connection, and pride to sustain us. These approaches and perspectives enable me to offer a flexible, collaborative space for clients to explore their experiences and build on their strengths.

I am particularly passionate about supporting people who are navigating questions around gender, sexuality, relationships, transitions, and processes of grief and loss.

While much of my work has been with rangatahi (ages 12-21), I also work with whānau and adults. If you’re seeking a safe, supportive space to explore your identity, challenges, and growth, I would be honoured to hold space and walk alongside you.
